Mr. and Mrs. DeWayne Schweinler and family of Elroy and Mr. and Mrs. LaVern
Kaufman and family of rural Fairchild were Easter Sunday dinner guests of their
mother, Mrs. Freida Zerbel.
Mrs. Karen Fitzpatrick and children of Black River Falls and Mrs. Christine
Newell and Ambrose Mayer of St. Paul spent Easter Sunday with their parents, Mr.
and Mrs. Lyle Newell, and Virgil.
Gordon Gearing and Glen Breu returned early Sunday morning from their trip to
California.
Ann Marie Dimmick of Black River Falls spent Saturday with her friend Tammy at
the Einer Duerkop home.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Laffe and Mrs. Mary Iffland were guests Sunday of Mrs. Emma
Haag and Leonard in Melrose. Mrs. Iffland remained for a longer visit.
Nordahl Fristad returned Monday from a visit at the home of his daughter, Mrs.
Donald Lund, in Clearwater, Fla.
Mr. and Mrs. Mike Seelow of Milwaukee spent from Saturday until Sunday afternoon
with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Kirby.
In cards received from Jim Duerkop by his parents he states he has toured
Athens, Greece, and had spent two days in Cairo, Egypt on his way homeward.
