Beisner, William (6 JAN 1887 - 4 FEB 1964)
Funeral services for William Beisner, 77, rural Dorchester, were held Friday
afternoon at 2 p.m. at Salem Evangelical United Brethren Church at Dorchester.
The Rev. L.I. McCormick officiated at the services. Burial was made in the
Dorchester Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Beisner, a lifelong resident of the town of Mayville, died at his home
Tuesday morning. He had been ill for several months.
H was born in the town of Mayville Jan. 6, 1887, and received his education at
the Pleasant Hill School. He married the former Alvina Lindau Sept. 27, 1922, at
St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Dorchester. He farmed all his life.
He served his township as supervisor for several years.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Lowell (Hildegarde) Maxam,
Stetsonville, and Mrs. Marvin (Edith) Ploeckelman, Dorchester; five brothers,
Fred, Albert and Herman, Dorchester, Richard Center, N.D., and Arthur,
Weyauwega. Twelve grandchildren also survive.
He was preceded in death by a sister and four brothers.
