Larson Ruth A. (25 JAN 1964)
Miss Ruth Ann Larson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Larson, rural Dorchester,
and Anthony Sterzinger, Colby, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sterzinger, repeated
their marriage vows Saturday, Jan. 25, 1964, at St. Mary's Catholic Church,
Colby. Rev. Ambrose Blenker officiated at the 10:30 a.m. ceremony.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore her mother's wedding dress. The
gown featured a Victorian style bodice carved to a V at the front waistline. A
crown of seed pearls and iridescent sequins secured the floor length veil. A
cascade bouquet of yellow roses and white feathered chrysanthemums was carried
by the bride.
Mrs. Melvin Schneider, Colby, was matron of honor, and Miss Mary Ann Sterzinger
was bridesmaid.
They wore dresses of turquoise satin and chiffon in street length. Each carried
a semi-cascade bouquet of blue iris and yellow pompons.
Melvin Schneider, Colby, was best man, and Harlyn Larson of Dorchester, was
groomsman.
Ushers were Herbert and Sylvester Sterzinger, both of Colby.
The wedding dinner and reception were held at the Legion Hall at Dorchester.
The bride attended Dor-Abby High School and the groom is a 1960 graduate of
Colby High School. He is employed by Packaging Corp., Colby, where the young
couple will make their home.
