Constance Ann Demuth, daughter of Mrs. William Demuth of Loyal and Sp/4 Richard
Bruce Hansen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leland Hansen of Granton were married at
Pioneer Chapel, Hanau, Germany on August 31. A 7:30 candlelight Nuptial Mass was
performed by Father Jennings.
The bride wore a dress of silk organza featuring a Sabrina neckline with
appliqué of lace and sequins. The dress was styled with waist length sleeves, a
fitted waist and a floor length bouffant skirt. Her veil of imported silk
illusion was secured to a crown of tiny seed pearls and she carried a bouquet of
red roses.
The maid of honor was Barbara Duncan of Hanau, who wore a frock of white lace
over blue taffeta and she carried carnations.
Miss Duncan’s little brother & sister acted as ring bearer and flower girl.
Serving as best man was Sp/4 Wayne Demuth, brother of the bride, who is
stationed in Ludwigsburg, Germany.
An evening reception was held at the home of friends.
The bride is a 1961 graduate of Loyal High School and she had been employed in
Milwaukee. The groom, a graduate of Loyal High School, has been stationed in
Germany 14 months.
The young couple are on a 30 day honeymoon leave and plan to tour Europe. Among
the places they plan to visit are Venice, Rome, Paris, Capri, and Pisa. Upon
their return, they plan to live in Dornigheim, Germany.
