Drews, Louise (2 FEB 1906 - 17 FEB 1964)
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today for Mrs. Louise Drews, 58, Colby.
Mrs. Drews died Monday morning at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, of
Leukemia.
The Rev. Leroy Urman will officiated at the service, which will be held at Zion
Lutheran Church, Colby. Burial will be made in Colby Memorial Cemetery. Funeral
arrangements were attended to by Lulloff Funeral home, Colby.
Louise Drews was born Louise Schulz, Feb. 2, 1906, at Mora, Minn., where she
lived with her parents until moving to Chicago in 1925. In 1930 she married
Walter Drews, and in 1931 the couple moved to their farm in the town of Hull
(Marathon Co., Wis.), where they lived for the past 33 years. She was a member
of Zion Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Drews is survived by her husband, Walter; two sons, Edwin, Colby, and
Walter, Milwaukee; and two daughters, Lila of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Wallace
(Dorothy) Sprotte, Abbotsford; nine brothers, Ed, William and Arnold Schulz,
Mora, Minn., Benjamin Schulz, Fla., Charles Schulz, Bemidji, Minn., Emil Schulz,
Grant's Pass, Ore., Walter Schlz, Fla., August and Elmer Schulz, Addison, Ill.,
and George Schulz, Pine City, Minn.; and four sisters, Amanda Berringer, Wash.,
Anna Long, Thornton, Ia., Adeline Wilson, Mora, Minn., and Mable Drews, Nekoosa.
