Lange, Marvin E. (5 SEP 1921 - 14 AUG 2012)
Marvin E. Lange, of Milwaukee, was born to eternal life on Tuesday, Aug. 14,
2012. He was born to this life on September 5, 1921 to the late Gustave E. and
Florence D. (Leischer), in Medford.
Beloved husband of the late Betty Jane Lange (Leichtnam), loving father of Carol
Boser, Linda (Stan) Szlachciuk, Bruce (Thea), Dennis (Anne), Cindy (Ed) Dahl and
Mary Jane (Greg) Bach.
Cherished grandfather of Bruce Jr. and Tricia Lange, Jody (Shawn) Knopick,
Shelly (Tim) Wagner, Laurie Montgomery, Vicki (Eric) Hamlin, Eddie Jr. (Dana)
Dahl and Jacob Bach.
Treasured brother of Betty LePage, Kenneth Lange, Jeaneane Lange and Wayne
Lange. Dear friend of Marian Wanta. He is further survived by 15
great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Marvin is preceded in death by his son-in-law, Don Boser granddaughter, Stefanie
Lange; siblings, LaVerne Fischer, Robert and Harold Lange; and friend Dorothy
Gerczak;
Visitation at Prasser-Kleczka Funeral Home in Milwaukee on Saturday, Aug. 18
from 9:30-11:45 a.m. Funeral service at 11:44 a.m. Interment to follow at
Woodlawn Cemetery in Milwaukee.
Marvin was born in Medford and worked for many years as a truck driver. After
retirement, Marvin found his true passion in life, dancing. Over the years, he
made several wonderful friendships dancing at the Moose Lodge and Pulaski Inn.
He also enjoyed cribbage, bowling, fishing, hunting and traveling the world.
Most recently Marvin was a member of Adoration Evangelical Lutheran Church in
Greenfield.
