Pioneers of Taylor County Celebrate Golden Wedding
Medford, Wis. - Mr. and Mrs. John Frischman, town of Medford, celebrated their
golden wedding at their farm home.
At the dinner, which was served after the ceremony at the church, there were
besides their six children and their wives, 41 grandchildren and eight great
grandchildren, also about 100 guests.
Mr. and Mrs. Frischman are old settlers, having lived on the farm where the
celebration was held 42 years. They came when Taylor county was a wilderness and
bought a piece of land from the railroad company.
Today, this land is one of the finest farms in Taylor County.
