Neubecker, Grace Darleen (Marriage - 27 April 1968)
Nuptial vows were exchanged in a double ring ceremony performed Saturday by the
Rev. Norman Lindloff in St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran church here, by Grace
Darleen Neubecker, daughter of Mrs. Frank Neubecker of Neillsville and the late
Frank Neubecker, and Paul H. Ampe, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Ampe, Sr., of
Rt. 1 Loyal. Bouquets of white flowers were arranged on the altar.
Edward Schoenherr, cousin of the bride, sang, “The Lord is My Shepherd” and “O
Father all greeting,” accompanied at the organ by Victor Lehmann.
Miss Neubecker, given in marriage by her uncle, Herbert Schoenherr, wore a white
floor-length gown of Chantilly lace over taffeta, in cage style. The bodice was
fashioned with long, tapered sleeves. The ensemble was enhanced by a
chapel-length train and a floor-length Mantilla veil. She carried a cascade
arrangement of red roses entwined with ivy.
Attendants were Mrs. Kathleen Ritter of Kenosha, sister of the bride,
matron-of-honor; Sharon Loberg of Marshfield, and Beverly Schoenherr of
Neillsville, bridesmaids. They were seen in turquoise floor-length gowns of
chiffon, styled with cap sleeves and draped necklines. The waistlines of their
empire bodices were accented with flower trim. Each carried a cascade bouquet of
turquoise and white carnations.
Tom Luchterhand of Spencer was best man. Groomsmen were Gordon Ritter of Kenosha
and Daniel Neubecker of Neillsville. Ushers were Edward Schoenherr of
Neillsville and Ronald Dean of Milwaukee.
The bride, a 1965 graduate of Neillsville High School, has been employed in the
county agent’s office. Mr. Ampe, a graduate of Greenwood High School in 1965,
and Eau Claire Vocational and Technical School in 1966, is a carpenter in
Kenosha, where they will reside on their return from a wedding trip into
Michigan.
