Lynch, Jeannine Bobbie (Marriage - 4 May 1968)
The United Church of Christ in Neillsville was the scene Saturday of the wedding
of Jeannine Bobbie Lynch of Neillsville, and Ronald Robert Thimm of Rt. 1
Glidden. The Rev. W. C. Koehler performed the ceremony at 2 p.m. The bride was
given in marriage by her father. Parents of the newly-married couple are Mr. and
Mrs. Robert Lynch of Neillsville, and Mr. and Mrs. Armond Thimm of Rt. 1
Glidden.
The bride entered the church attired in a Spanish-styled A-line floor-length
clipped lace skimmer, with a large detachable, Watteau train flowing from the
back waistline. A matching pillbox held her mantilla-styled veil. She carried a
cascade arrangement of red, pink and white roses with trailing ivy.
Miss Bonnie Lato of Eau Claire served as maid-of-honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs.
Kenneth Thimm of Superior and Miss Sandy Free of Neillsville. The attendants
wore aqua colored floor-length cage gowns, styled with detachable panels over
the arms. The rounded necklines were edged with beads, and small veils billowed
from wedding bell headpieces. Each carried long stemmed white roses.
Dennis Schoch of Glidden was bestman. Groomsmen were Kenneth Thimm of Superior
and Duane Lynch of Neillsville. Ushers were Gary Engel of Winchester and john
Lynch of Neillsville.
The bride is a 1965 graduate of Neillsville High School and a 1967 graduate of
the vocational, Technical and Adult School in Eau Claire. She has been employed
by the federal government in Milwaukee. Beginning June 17 she will be a legal
secretary in Merrill.
Mr. Thimm, also a 1967 graduate of the Vocational School in Eau Claire, is a
barber in Merrill, where they will reside on their return from a wedding trip to
Nashville, Tenn.
