Sixel, Patricia M. (2 August 1956 - 11 February 2013)
Patricia M. Sixel, 56, of Eau Claire, WI, passed away on Monday, February 11,
2013, at her home.
Pat was born on August 2, 1956, in Marshfield, WI, to Ludvig and Helen (Ticer)
Artac. She grew up in Willard, WI, during the hippie and rock and roll years. On
October 7, 1978, Pat married Michael Sixel.
She love to create and wear Jewelry, but she also sold Avon products for many
years. Pat loved to spend time in her flower garden nurturing different plants
and flowers. She also enjoyed her cats, listening to music, dancing, and
attending Rock Fest.
Pat is survived by her husband of 34 years, Mike; many family members; cousins;
nieces and nephews( and grand and great-grand); one 90-something Aunt Freida,
from Chicago; godson, Kevin Borud from New Jersey; close friend, Chia Mueller
and the “Fab Five.”
She was preceded in death by her parents; and close friend, Arlene Debevec.
A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, February 15, 2013, at
Jacob’s Well in the Village of Lake Hallie, with Pastor Paul A. Berthiaume
officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service on Friday at the
Church. Burial will take place at a later date in Our Lady of hope Cemetery,
Chippewa Falls.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the International Myeloma
Foundation or the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
