Nelson, Jennie (7 NOV 1917)
Mr. Edwin Haltaufderheide of this place (Granton, Clark Co., Wis.) and Miss
Jennie Nelson of the town of Lincoln in Wood County, were married at Marshfield
at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 7, 1917. The ceremony took place at the
residence of Rev. Schuelke of the Evangelical Ger. Church. The happy pair were
attended to by the Misses Fern Beaver and Marie Andrews of Marshfield, and by
the bride's brother Edward Nelson of Lincoln, and the groom's brother Harold
Haltaufderheide of the town of York. The groom is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs.
Chas. Haltaufderheide of this place. He is well and favorable known as a young
man of industry and good habits. The bride, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert
Nelson of the town of Lincoln, though a stranger to us, is very highly spoken of
and and has many friends. The happy pair are expected here today, Friday, on a
several days visit to his parents, before going to their new home at Two Rivers
where the groom will, after next week, be engaged in the laundry business.
The News joins with their many friends in wishing them success and happiness.
