Mrs. Henry Sternitzky, after several weeks with relatives at Jackson and her
daughter Helen of Reedsburg, returned home Tuesday.
Rev. Grenfell of Lindsey, after the services Sunday, organized Sunday school.
The following officers were elected: Miss Emma Altenburg - superintendent, Mrs.
E.T. Washburn - assistant superintendent, Miss Hattie Scholtz - secretary and
treasurer, Miss Opal Simpson - librarian. Sunday school will be held at 2
o'clock and services at 3 o'clock.
Miss Hammond of Neillsville, a teacher in the Teacher's Training School, came
over with Miss Gladys Ure and spent Saturday and Sunday with her.
Miss Mamie Ure and John and Mary autoed to Neillsville and spent Sunday with the
Geo. Ure family.
Miss Leta and Laota Capelle entertained the J.H. Club Saturday.
Several from this place attended the Treble Clef Club at Granton last Monday and
report it fine.
Mrs. Geo. Miner, formerly Elsie Grassman, of North Dakota, arrived home last
week and is visiting with her parents. She came to take in the wedding of her
brother Alvin.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Grassman of Auburndale came over to attend the Grassman-Kurth
wedding.
Miss Esther Hollenbach is clerking at the J.L. Keller store. Miss Martha
Breseman resigned.
Walter Riedel is assisting at J.L. Keller's store.
