Guests Sunday at the Elmer Dodmead home were Mr. and Mrs. John Hurd of Eau Claire and Mrs. Anna Smitke of Neillsville.

Miss Stella Davis and Mrs. Frances Prochazka were dinner guests Sunday at the Art Schlinsog home near Granton.

Gus Carl is receiving medical care in Memorial Hospital.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Svetlik and son of new Holstein were weekend visitors at the Frank and Tony Svetlik, Henry Rahn and Jim Milton homes.

Msgr. Michael Prock, Ann Prock, Claire Prock and Mr. and Mrs. Linus Prock were dinner guests Tuesday of Mr. and Mrs. William Schwellenbach. Mr. and Mrs. Linus Prock and Mrs. William Schwellenbach visited Sunday in Tomah with Mr. and Mrs. Harold Seitz.

Mrs. Harold Elmendorf and granddaughter, Carrie Sexton, accompanied relatives from Gilman to Milwaukee last weekend for a visit with relatives and friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald E. Peters returned home last week from a seven and one-half week vacation in Dunedin, Fla. On the return they followed the east coast to Charleston, S. C., where they toured the Boone plantation where “Gone with the Wind” was filmed. They also had the chance to view the Magnolia Gardens, with magnolias and azaleas in full bloom. Another point of interest was Appomattox, where the Civil War ended. A few miles from Lexington they visited the Natural Bridge, one of the Seven Wonders of the World.

Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Burkart and Jennifer of Eau Claire spent the weekend with her mother, Mrs. Irene Drescher, and her brother, Wayne Drescher, of rural Greenwood. A guest Sunday at the Drescher home was Mrs. Elda Bartz of Granton.

Supper guests at the Erwin Greeler home in the Town of York were Mr. and Mrs. Otto Manthe of Marshfield.
