The weather for the past few days has been ideal.
Albert Gall is helping Geo. Burdick dig a well.
Mr. John Vogeli took Mrs. Calkins and son and Mrs. Ellis to Granton Saturday
morning when they took the train for their respective homes.
Mrs. A. Freelund returned to her home in Rockford, Ill., Monday, accompanied by
Mrs. Ralph Scholtz, who has gone to visit her husband who is training at Camp
Grant.
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Sparks went to Granton Monday, accompanied by Mrs. Sparks'
brother Jess, who took the train for his home out west.
Mr. and Mrs. John Coulthart were Granton callers Monday.
Mrs. Geo. M. Redmond visited Mrs. Herman Schwanebeck Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. John Vogeli were Neillsville visitors on Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Gall were Granton visitors on Friday.
Mrs. Bertha Frechette and Mrs. Geo. Redman were Granton visitors on Monday.
Mrs. J. Gehre entertains the Ladies Aid this week.
A great many of the farmers are taking advantage of the fine weather by doing
fall plowing.
Mrs. R.H. Davis and her mother, Mrs. Kenyon of Troy, Pa., visited Mrs. Geo. M.
Redman on Sunday.
