Willie Mache, who has been in employment on the new barracks in Des Moines, Ia.,
returned home Friday.
Francis Sherrett has been very ill for about a week and pneumonia is feared.
Mr. Good leaves Wednesday for his former home in Illinois.
The Ladies Aid meeting at Mrs. Sam Ferguson's last Thursday was quite well
attended and all enjoyed the fine dinner that was served. The next meeting is to
be at Mrs. R. Galbreath's Dec. 6th.
There will be a large free for all Thanksgiving dinner at John Kauth's, given by
the Ladies Aid, and everyone is cordially invited. Don't forget your dinner
basket.
Mrs. Kissling had a few of the neighbors in Tuesday evening to help pick her
geese. After the picking a fine supper was served.
Mollie Kissling is working for Dr. Matheson's this week.
