Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Dankemyer spent Sunday at Wellie Davis'.
Martin Dankemyer went to Marshfield Saturday between trains to consult Dr.
Milbee in regard to lung trouble.
A few of the neighbors sawed wood for Baxter last week.
John Eibergen Jr. and Geo. Ley called at Fred Dankemyer's Sunday.
Ora Davis had a party for her scholars on Halloween.
Mrs. Wallace Baxter and Mrs. Walter Drake called at Marshfield Hospital to see
Mr. Baxter. They found him as well as could be expected, planning to return home
in a week.
Wellie Davis and Freeman Dankemyer drove to Granton Friday on business.
Geo. Ley hauled a load of potatoes to Chili for Geo. Drake Saturday.
Oswald Henninger and Walter Drake have been around taking up subscriptions for
Mr. Baxter, who is at the Marshfield Hospital.
Masters Howard and Freddie Dankemyer called on Charley Christenson Sunday.
Jennie and Wellie Eibergen drove over to Bodendorfer's Sunday to see Elsie, who
has returned from the hospital at Marshfield to her home.
Mrs. Martin Dankemyer went to Marshfield Monday on business.
Albert Christenson has been laid up with the grippe for a few days.
Arthur Field, formerly of this vicinity, now living at Bentley, Alta, Canada, is
the proud father of a 4 1/2 pound girl born Oct. 1st 1917.
