Len Howard at the Neillsville Hospital is rapidly recovering from hsi recent serious operation.

Irl Page is cooking for Uncle Sam at Waco, Texas.

Mrs. Emery Bruley, her daughters Mrs. Phil Griffin and Miss Marie Bruley, with Mrs. L. Williams and Mrs. Kate Welsh, all of Neillsville, attended the funeral of W.C. Dittmer at Seymour on Monday. Mr. Dittmer, suffering from an abscess on the brain, died at the hospital in Appleton last Friday. Mr. Dittmer was the husband of Ruth Bruley and was only married last May.

Miss Julia Kurth and Irving Lowe have announced their marriage and are housekeeping since last week.

Wendell Crothers and Kenneth Austin went to Chicago Tuesday and entered the U.S. Avaition training camp.

Mr. and Mrs. Julius Neverman spent Sunday with Miss Della Neverman in Milwaukee, where she is very sick in a hospital.
