The Social Circle will hold their annual wiener roast at the Thorp Park on
Thursday evening, June 4.
Memorial Day dinner guests at the Dick Brandt home were: Mr. and Mrs. Lavern
Gunderson of Superior, Mr. and Mrs. James Grassman of Antigo, Mr. and Mrs. Bob
Storley and daughter of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Mathiesen and Mrs. Ida
Mathiesen of Marshfield.
Mr. and Mrs. Bob Hatfield and family of New London are spending the week at the
Clifford Manier home and with relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. John Johnson of Janesville spent the weekend at the don Miller home
and visited other relatives and friends in the area.
Attending a family picnic at the Joe Miller home on Memorial Day were: Mr. and
Mrs. Laurence Henke and David of Owen, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil hanson and family of
Chippewa Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Art Ricksford and Donna of Chippea Falls, Mrs. June
Philippi and Josephine Nelson of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Mrs. Don Ryniec and Gary
of Thorp, Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Shilts and family and Mr. and Mrs. Don Miller,
Jerry and John.
Mr. and Mrs. Chester Kline spent Saturday afternoon at the Carl Brandt home.
Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Swope and family visited at the Frank Krueger home Saturday
afternoon.
