Miss Betty Spahes, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Spahes, Medford, and Mr. Ernie
Vetterkind, son of Viola Vetterkind and the late Wm. Vetterkind, were married at
the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Medford, May 29th, 1964 at 2 p.m.
The Rev. Arian Zank performed the ceremony.
The Wedding March was played by Donald Doberstein.
Mrs. June Laube of Wausau, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid. Mr. Glen Steve
Cirrety, was best man.
The bride chose for her wedding a beige suit with brown accessories and wore a
corsage of red and white roses.
The groom wore a light grey suit and carnation boutonniere. The bridesmaid wore
a pink lace ensemble with white accessories and corsage of pink and white
carnations.
The bride's mother chose for her daughter's wedding a tan tweed suit with
matching accessories and corsage of red and white carnations.
The groom's mother wore a grey print dacron dress with black and white
accessories and corsage of red and white carnations.
After the wedding a reception was held at the VFW Hall in Medford for 25
relatives.
