Nelson, Edward S.(1887? - 10 JUN 1964)

Edward Sidney Nelson, 77, Rt. 2, Sheldon, died Wednesday at the Gilman Nursing Home.

Mr. Nelson was born in Portland, Ore., and farmed in the Town of McKinley, Taylor County many years where he served as township assessor.

Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the ladies Aid hall in Jump River. Burial was in the Mount Nebo Cemetery.

He is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Joe Debner, Sheldon, Mrs. Lester Muffey, Matteson, Ill., Mrs. Chester Kern, Stanley, Mrs. William Susnik, Sheldon, and Mrs. Dale Starky, Sheldon; three sons, Edward, Forest Center, Minn., and Norman and John, Minneapolis; a sister, Mrs. A.G. Huls, Chippewa Falls; 22 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
