Theiler, Carol Lee (18 December 1952 - 29 January 2013)

Carol L. Theiler, 60, of rural Humbird passed away Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at her home in the loving care of her family and Black River Memorial Hospice.

Carol Lee Theiler, daughter of Wilbert and Hazel (Dunn) Breheim, was born Dec. 18, 1952, in Black River Falls. Carol was raised in the Merrillan area where she was baptized at the United Methodist Church, attended Merrillan Elementary School and graduated from Alma Center Lincoln High School. She was united in marriage t o Raymond Theiler Oct. 27, 1973, in Merrillan.

Carol lived most of her life in the Humbird area where she raised three daughters. Carol had been employed at Norplex Plastic in Black River Falls, and for the last 10 years she had worked as a clerk at Black River Crossing Oasis Truck Stop until ill health forced her retirement last fall. Carol loved to draw almost anything but especially like drawing designs on blankets. She had also drawn the designs that are on the current Humbird fire truck. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren. She had been in ill health for several months and in hospice care since November.

She is survived by her husband, Ray Theiler of Humbird; three daughters, Jennifer Breheim (Larry Amundson) of Hixton, Kerry Theiler of Osseo, Luci “Roo” Theiler (Bob Barnett) of Augusta; 11 grandchildren, Damon, Samantha, Ryan, Matthew, Courtney and Autumn Amundson; Tyler and Tayah Bedell; and Brookelynn, Logan and Aiden Barnett. She is further survived by six brothers, Wilbert (Vonnie) Breheim, and George Breheim, both of Merrillan, Brad (Rose) Breheim of Minnesota, Ernie (Lucy) Breheim of Indiana, Deric (Cheryl) Breheim of Hixton, Richard (Rita) Breheim of Stevens Point; three sisters, Cheryl Morgan, Vernetta (Sam) O’Brien and Cathe (William) Myers, all of Merrillan; and several nieces and nephews.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Wilbert and Hazel; infant sister, Coral Breheim; and brother, Dane Breheim.

Memorial services were held Sat. Feb. 2, 2013, at 1 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta. Graveside services were held later that afternoon at Curtis Cemetery in Garden Valley Township, Jackson County.
