At a candlelight service Saturday, October 14, at the Grace Lutheran Church in
Oconto Falls, Roseann Elizabeth Myre became the bride of Thomas Charles Brussow.
The bride’s uncle and godfather, Rev. H. Karl Diemer officiated at the 4 p.m.
ceremony and Mrs. W. Rudolph was organist.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Carl Myre and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey
Brussow.
As the bride was given in marriage by her father she wore a dress of jade green
wool knit with a white pill-box hat and white accessories. Her corsage was a
white orchid.
Carol Myre of Eau Claire, as her sister’s maid of honor wore a light beige wool
dress with brown accessories & a rust symbridium orchid. Craig Johnston was best
man.
The bride’s mother saw the wedding in a moss green suit with brown accessories
and she wore a corsage of yellow roses. A red dress with black accessories was
worn by the groom’s mother and she was presented with a corsage of white roses.
A reception for the immediate families was given at the home of the bride’s aunt
and uncle, Rev. and Mrs. Karl H. Diemer, at which Kariene Brussow & Nancy Myre
poured. A dinner, also for the immediate families, was served at Antler’s Supper
Club at Stevens Point. The bride’s table was centered with a wedding cake with
jade trim and bouquets of mums. Four grandmothers and three grandfathers, Mr.
and Mrs. Claude Myre of Chippewa Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Boe, Mr. & Mrs. Henry
Anderegg and Mrs. T. E. Diemer, attended.
The newly weds are both graduates of Loyal High School and the bride is also a
graduate of the Eau Claire School of Beauty Culture. She has been employed as a
beautician at Grace’s Beauty Shop. They will make their new home at 2314
Lakeland Ave., Madison, where the groom is attending the Madison Business
Institute.
