Zion Lutheran Church was the scene of the wedding of
miss Marie Coyle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Coyle, Granton and Walter
Foemmel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Foemmel, Sr., Chili.
The Rev. E.T. Keller, Pittsville, officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony.
Yellow and lavender flowers decorated the altar and pews.
“The Wedding Prayer” and “The Lord’s Prayer” were sung
by Mrs. Donald Bartsch and Miss Elsie Garbisch with organ accompaniment by Miss
Ruth Garbisch.
Mrs. Marvin Oldham, Neillsville acted as maid of honor
for her sister, bridesmaids were Joanne Dahl and Barbara Coyle.
A friend, Bill Broughtman, Minneapolis was best man and groomsmen were
Silas Foemmel and Alan Sternitzky.
Debbie and Jack Foemmel served as flower girl and ring bearer.
Ushers were Erlin and Byrl Dahl.
Both the bride and groom have been employed at
Minneapolis and will make their home there upon returning from a honeymoon.
They left by plane to visit Disneyland in California and will stop at
Phoenix, Arizona to visit the bride’s grandmother, Mrs. Grace Coyle.
A 4:30 supper was served at the parish hall to about 100
guests with a reception following the ceremony at the Erlin Dahl home.
