Nikolai, Rose Marie (01 JUN 1963)
Rose Marie Nikolai, route 3, Stratford, became the bride
of Harvey Wehrman, Loyal, in a ceremony in St. Andrew’s Catholic Church at
Rozellville on Jun 1. Rev. Carl
Wohlmuth officiated.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Ed Nikolai, route

For her wedding the bride chose a floor length gown of

V neckline. Her French illusion veil
was held to an aurora borealis crown and she carried a white orchid with
stephanotis, ivy and pink roses.
Attending the bride as matron of honor was Mrs. Marvin
Wucherpfennig of Marshfield. She
wore a gown of yellow taffeta over net with a cummerbund at the waist and a bow
at the back. The bridesmaids,
Marlene Hoefs, Stratford; Eileen Weiler, and Judy Hayton, Marshfield; wore
similar frocks in pink, green and orchid, respectively. They were presented with
arrangements of Fugi chrysanthemums with tinted carnations for the wedding. A
crown of pearls completed their attire.
Attending the groom were Marvin Wucherpfennig as best
man, Gordon Haslow, Norman Gabrovic and Mike LaBarge as groomsmen.
Ushers were Wally Wucherpfennig and Ray LaBarge.
A dinner and supper were served in the church hall with
the reception and dance being at Fahey’s Hall.
The bride who is a graduate of Marshfield Senior High has been employed
Normhagen Laundry and Dry Cleaners.
Her husband attended Loyal High School and was employed at Bethel Convalescent
Home in Arpin. This Tuesday he left
for Minneapolis to be inducted into the US Navy.
