The Rev. Carroll Walljasper officiated at the nuptial
High Mass at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 8, at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, Chili,
when Miss Mary Ida Schultz daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Schultz, route 2
Spencer, became the bride of Gerhard (Gary) Allen Schellinger, son of Mr. and
Mrs. George Schellinger, Loyal.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore
a white street length nylon over taffeta bridal frock topped with a lace jacket.
A crystal crown held her bouffant elbow length veil.
She carried a bouquet of red and whit sweetheart roses.
Mrs. James Zoellner, Wausau, the matron of honor, wore a
white lace street length sheath over mint green gown.
A matching nose veil was attached to a petal head piece and she carried
yellow carnations withivy.
Richard Schellinger, Hartford, served as best man.
A wedding dinner and reception for about fifty guests
were held at the home of the bride’s parents following the ceremony.
The bride is a 1963 graduate of Loyal High School and
her husband graduated in 1962. The
newlyweds will make their home in Loyal where the groom is employed at the O.W.
Trindal Co., in Loyal.
