Nelson, Carol Joanne (22 JUN 1963)

Rev. Alden Moldenhauer, pastor of the Loyal Trinity Lutheran Church officiated at the wedding of Dennis Nathan Markham and Carol Joanne Nelson Saturday, June 22 at 2 p.m. at the home of the Bridegroom on route 1 Granton.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Markham and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Nelson, route 1, Loyal.

The bride was seen in a white street length silk organza over taffeta gown topped with a lace jacket.  Her nylon tulle net veil was attached to a jewel like hand piece and her flowers were a bouquet of pink roses with lily of the valley.

The maid of honor, Bonnie Nelson of Loyal, wore a white brocade street length dress and held a bouquet of pin carnations and lily of the valley.  Erlin Roehl, Loyal, was the best man.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the home.  A honeymoon trip was taken to northern Wisconsin.  The couple are making their home at route 1, Granton.

The bride attended Loyal High School and her husband is a graduate of the same school.  He is employed at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.
