Rev. Alden Moldenhauer, pastor of the Loyal Trinity
Lutheran Church officiated at the wedding of Dennis Nathan Markham and Carol
Joanne Nelson Saturday, June 22 at 2 p.m. at the home of the Bridegroom on route
1 Granton.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Markham
and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Nelson, route 1, Loyal.
The bride was seen in a white street length silk organza
over taffeta gown topped with a lace jacket.
Her nylon tulle net veil was attached to a jewel like hand piece and her
flowers were a bouquet of pink roses with lily of the valley.
The maid of honor, Bonnie Nelson of Loyal, wore a white
brocade street length dress and held a bouquet of pin carnations and lily of the
valley. Erlin Roehl, Loyal, was the
best man.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the
home. A honeymoon trip was taken to
northern Wisconsin. The couple are
making their home at route 1, Granton.
The bride attended Loyal High School and her husband is
a graduate of the same school. He is
employed at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.
