Miss Sharon Ann Haukland, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Sydney Haukland, route 1, Marshfield, became the bride of John Clarence
Schwieso, route 2, Loyal, son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Schwieso, at St.
Anthony’s Church, Loyal. Father
Norbert E. King officiated.
The bride was attired in a white taffeta walking suit,
with short finger tip veil. Her
bouquet was a small cascade of red roses and featured white mums, having salad
leaves in garland and edging.
The matron of honor, Mrs. Joan Schwieso, sister in law
of the groom, was dressed in a blue street length suit with hat and shoes to
match. Her flowers consisted of one
large white mum, edged in feathered mums and a garland falling to one side.
The bridesmaid was Corine Sullivan, who was also dressed in a blue suit
with hat and shoes to match, carrying flowers as same as the matron of honor.
The best man was Theron B. Schwieso, brother of the
groom, and the groomsman was John Loveland Jr.
The usher was James D. Schwieso of route 2, Loyal.
A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents.
The bride attended Marshfield Senior High School and is
now a professional beautician. The
groom attended Loyal High School and is employed at the Chevrolet, Inc. at
Janesville.
The couple will make their home at Janesville.
