Mrs. Ethel (Laufenberg) Spuhler of route 2, Loyal was
united in marriage at a Nuptial High Mass at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church of
Loyal, to Fred Uhrig of route 2, Loyal, on Saturday, November 30 at 10 a.m.
Father Norbert E. King officiating.
The bride was attired in a white wool lace sheath dress,
with a fur stole, and a gold hat with matching gloves.
She carried a rose bud bouquet and a white rosary made by an aunt, Sister
Primus of Madison.
The matron of honor was Mrs. Emily Lindner of Edgar.
She wore a beige dress with brown accessories and carried a bouquet of
carnations and yellow rose buds.
The best man was Reynold Lindner of Edgar.
The ushers were Michael and Jack Spuhler, grandsons of the bride.
A dinner was held at Brunos Supper Club in Marshfield.
The couple is honeymooning in Minnesota, Texas, and
Mexico. On their return, the couple
will be at home on route 2, Loyal.
