Klemke, Larry L. (19 MAR 1947 - 18 FEB 2013)

Larry L. Klemke, age 65, of Colby passed away Monday, February 18, 2013 at Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Zion Lutheran Church in Colby. Rev. Mark Neumann will officiate. A visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm Friday February 22, 2013 at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford and on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of service at the church in Colby. Burial will be at the Loyal City Cemetery.

Larry was born March 19, 1947 to Albert and Frieda (Dubois) Klemke in Michigan. He attended Oak Grove country school and was a 1965 graduate of Loyal High School. Larry then attended the University of Wisconsin River Falls earning a degree in Agriculture. He then moved to Colby and worked at Harmony Cooperative for over 25 years until his retirement in 2004 due to ill health. Larry was joined in marriage to Donna Olson on June 21, 2001 at Zion Lutheran Church in Colby. He enjoyed taxidermy work, hunting, golf and fishing.

Larry is survived by his wife, Donna, his brother; Loren (Bev) Klemke of Duluth, MN and a niece and nephews. He is further survived by his step-children: Heather (Tim) O'Donnell of Colby, Holly Wellman of Cedar Rapids, IA, Sherry (Jim) Looker of Rochester, MN, Jeff (Lois) Fischer of Colby, David (Rechelle) Fischer of Jim Falls, and Julie Fink of Rochester, MN and their children.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife; Kristin Klemke and second wife; Judith Klemke.

In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established at a later date.

The Maurina Schilling Funeral Home is assisting the Klemke family with arrangements.
