William and Georgeana Schulz attended a farewell party given by the employees of
the Edlen Cranberry marsh for Mr. and Mrs. Al Satinga, who are moving to Rice
Lake. The Satingas have been managers at the marsh for many years.
Georgeana Schulz accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Ole Aspen of Neillsville to Eau Claire
last week Wednesday, where they visited Mrs. Grace Vornholt of Neillsville who
is a patient at Sacred Heart Hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. William Sollberger attended the reunion of the 1923 high school
graduation class at Bali Hai Saturday evening. Mrs. Sollberger is a member of
this class.
Mrs. Emma Sollberger received a long distance call from her daughter, Mrs. Elmer
Hoesly, about 8 o’clock Sunday evening, who with her husband and daughter Carol,
are vacationing in Miami Beach, Fla. The Hoesly’s who are Marshfield residents;
left by plane from Milwaukee Saturday. The temperature at Miami was 82 degrees
when the call came through. There had been a shower of rain, but the sun was
shining again. Mrs. Hoesly is the former Alice Sollberger.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jarolimek of Humbird, accompanied by their guests, Mr. and
Mrs. Joe Jarolimek of Montana, visited Mr. and Mrs. Ward Lockman Friday.
