Ligenza, Mary (12 FEB 1887 - 17 JAN 1964)

Funeral services for Mary Ligenza, 76, who passed away Jan. 17, 1964 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Chippewa Falls, after a long illness, were held on Tuesday, Jan. 21. Father Ed Masalewicz officiated at the ten a.m. service at St. Hedwig's Church, and burial was in St. Hedwig's New Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Ray Giwojna, Stanley Malaszuk, Joe Klisiewicz, Steve Klisiewicz, Stanley Slowiak and Louis Slowiak.

Mary Klisiewicz was born Feb. 12, 1887 in Poland. After coming to America she resided at Chicago, Ill., where she was united in marriage at St. John's Contius Church to Frank Ligenza on Oct. 7, 1913. She also resided at Huron and since 1950 she lived at 310 Main St., Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.).

She is survived by one son , Francis of route 3, Thorp, two grandchildren and one brother, Pete Klisiewicz, Stanley.
