McLeod, Wallace (1912? - 11 FEB 1964)

Wallace G. McLeod, 51, Rt. 1, Gilman farmer, died Tuesday at Veterans Hospital in Fort Snelling, Minn.

A veteran of World War II, he served in the Army in the South Pacific Theater. He was a lifelong Town of Colburn (Taylor Co., Wis.) resident.

Mr. McLeod is survived by his wife, Loretta; three children, David, Bonnie, and Nancy, all at home; his mother, Mrs. Alexander McLeod, Waupaca; six brothers, George, Benton Harbor, Mich., Allen and Gale, Minneapolis, Ronald and Kenneth, Waupaca, and Donald, Chicago; and two sisters, Mrs. Robert Olson, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Joe Peterson, Minneapolis.

Funeral service were held Friday, feb. 14, at 10 a.m. at the Plombon Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Carl Peters officiating. Burial was in the National Cemetery at Fort Snelling.
