Nowobielski, Anna (4 MAR 1876 - 11 APR 1964)

Mrs. John (Anna) Nowobielski, 88, a former resident of the Town of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), passed away at Victory Memorial Hospital at Stanley of old age complications on Saturday, April 11, 1964. She had been residing for some time at the nursing home at Stanley.

The deceased was born in Poland on March 4, 1876 and was united in marriage there on Feb. 15, 1892 to John Nowobielski.

She came to America with her husband in 1901 and settled on a farm southeast of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), which they operated for many years. Mr. Nowobielski died in November 1947.

Mrs. Nowobielski is survived by one son, Alex Nowobielski of Milwaukee, Wis., and one daughter, Elizabeth, Mrs. Peter Wnek of Thorp.

A requiem Mass for the deceased was said by Father Edward Masalewicz at St. Hedwig's Chapel in the city at ten o'clock Tuesday morning, April 14th, and interment took place in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were Leon Nowobielski, Casey Grucelski, Robert Wnek, Ray Kobylarczyk, Tom Broda and John Hmielak.

Persons from out of town here to attend the services were Mr. and Mrs. Al Nowobielski and Mrs. Gene Fulzrczyk and son of Milwaukee, Mrs. Michael Lazowski of Oshkosh, Mr. and Mrs. J. Sobczynski and family of Palatine, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wnek, Mount Prospect, Ill., Ed Broda, Helen Hmielak, Mrs. Ed Bohaboy and Mrs. Stanley Sobczynski of Chicago, Mike Brya, Mrs. Henry Klinkhammer and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Brya of Minneapolis.
