He was a past member of Chet & Bernie's dartball team, playing at Zondlo's on Friday nights, and a past member of Little Bohemia Bowling League. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, babysitting the grandchildren and attending all of their activities, watching his great-nieces and great-nephews, watching the Brewers, Packers and Steelers, and watching the Loertscher kids play basketball.
