Hodick, Martha (January 22, 1912 - December 1, 2009)
Martha Hodick, 97, Rib Lake, died Tuesday, Dec. 1 at Memorial Health Center in Medford.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, Dec. 5 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Rib Lake, with Father Otto Bucher officiating. Interment was at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Westboro.
Martha Hodick was born January 22, 1912 in Cooperstown, Manitowoc County, to the late Albert and Mary Hodick. She lived most of her life in the Westboro area, attended Westboro Grade School and was employed at the Rectory at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Westboro. She also lived in the Rib Lake area for 18 years at Hometown Village Apartments and 3-1/2 years at Golden LivingCenter.
She enjoyed taking rides in the car, going out to eat and to the senior center, playing bingo, listening to music, playing games, watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy and gardening and flowers.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph; and two sisters and three brothers-in-law, Ann (William) Pelteir, Rose (Joseph) Kuna and Frederick Kuchenbecker.
Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Homes of Medford and Rib Lake assisted the family with arrangements.
