Buksa, Faye Audrey (September 12, 1933 - November 22, 2009)
 
Faye Audrey Buksa, 76, Rib Lake, died Sunday, Nov. 22 at St. Joseph's
Hospital in Marshfield.
 
The former Faye Willett was born September 12, 1933 in Rib Lake to the late
James and Inga (Stevensen) Willett. She attended Ward Graded School and Rib
Lake High School, but stopped attending high school to take care of her mother.
 
On October 25, 1969 in Mitchell, S.D., she married George John Buksa, who
survives.
 
She worked at Lake Theater in Rib Lake, Rib Lake Cheese Factory for seven
years, Gem Products in Rib Lake, later at Rib Lake Nursing Home, Little
Bohemia Restaurant in the late 1960s, George's Bar from 1962 to 1979, and
was co-owner of Ribs Bar & Resort from 1969 to 1979.
 
She was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid, Rib
Lake Lions Club, and Tuesday Evening Ladies Bowling League at Little Bohemia. She enjoyed telling stories, baking, spending time with her grandchildren and family, and participating in Christmas caroling with the Lions Club.
 
In addition to her husband, survivors include a son, Jack (Andrea) of Rib Lake; two brothers-in-law, Conrad Schupp of Elk Mound and Raymond Brietzke of Omaha, Neb.; two grandchildren, Tyler Buksa and Megan Buksa; nieces and
nephews; and other relatives and friends.
 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Maurice "Tommy" Olson; four sisters, Fern (John) Blennert, Dorothy (LeRoy)
Jones, Jeanette (Rocky) Rockenbach, Lois Brietzke and Bonnie Schupp; three
brothers, Ted (Norma Jean), Chester (Mary), and Lesley (Hazel); and four
infant children.
 
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 25 at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rib Lake, with Rev. James Heffner officiating. Interment was at Lakeview Cemetery in Rib Lake. Pallbearers were Cheryl Brietzke, Ray
Kelnhofer, Robert Kelnhofer, Jeff Schupp, Todd Schupp and Tyler Buksa.
 
Memorial contributions in her honor may be given to the family.
 
Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Homes of Medford and Rib Lake assisted the family
with arrangements.
