Unrau, Dorothy A. (September 26, 1936 - September 23, 2009)
Dorothy A. Unrau, 72, Medford, died Wednesday, Sept. 23 at Memorial Nursing
Home in Medford, where she had resided the past five years.
A memorial service was held Saturday, Sept. 26 at Hemer Funeral Home in
Medford, with Rev. David Clements officiating. Inurnment will take place at
a later date at Medford Evergreen Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers were Don
Unrau Jr., Carl and Lisa Tyznik, Bruce and Carolyn Clarkson and Shawn and
Valerie Lekie.
Dorothy Unrau was born September 26, 1936 in Medford to the late Walter and
Helen (Homman) Unrau.
She attended Mathey Elementary School in the Town of Browning.
She married Clinton Revels and they later divorced.
She farmed in the Town of Browning with her brother for many years until
1983, then did home health care.
Survivors include a sister, Florence (Phillip) Dolan of Chicago, Ill.;
nephews, Don Unrau Jr. and Michael Dolan; nieces, Carolyn (Bruce) Clarkson,
Lisa (Carl) Tyznik, Kathy Brecht, Rose Unrau, Valerie (Shawn) Lekie, Mary
Dolan and Barbara (Peter) Limberopoulos; great-nephews, Jake Ortegon and
Derek Unrau; and great-nieces, Kelsey Tyznik, Courtney Peterson, Rachel
Brecht, Kayleigh and Megan Unrau and Ashlee Berry.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers,
Edwin, Donald, Thomas and one in infancy; and a sister, Betty Unrau.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to her family to be designated at
a later date.
