Johnson, Ruby E. (June 23, 1923 - August 8, 2010)

Ruby E. Johnson, 87, Marshfield, died Sunday, Aug. 8 at Colonial Center in Colby.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 12 at 11:30 a.m. at Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery in Marshfield.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.

The former Ruby Vanderhoff was born June 23, 1923 in Spencer to the late Frank and Anna (Spuhler) Vanderhoff.

She married George Bacholl and they later divorced.

In 1950, she married Willard Johnson, and they divorced.

She worked at Roddis Plywood in Marshfield, Gem Shoe Products in Rib Lake and in domestic care in Milwaukee.

Survivors include four children, Bonnie Ostroski of Los Angeles, Calif., Robert (Bonnie) Bacholl of Chili, Linda Tlusty of Medford and Wayne Johnson of San Francisco, Calif.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
