Kalmon, Kelly A. (December 26, 1963 - September 16, 2009)
Kelly A. Kalmon, age 45, Wild Rose, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009 at St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee.
He was born December 26, 1963 in Medford, son of Ronald Kalmon and Darlene (Bishop) Preman.
Everyone's time comes, some sooner than we wish, but the life we lived is what defines us, not the final hours. Kelly had an oversized heart, literally, and in life. Kelly worked hard, partied hard and lived life on the edge. He went out of his way to help his friends and family, and continued to keep giving even after his death by being an organ donor. We are all going to miss him dearly.
Kelly is survived by his children, Harley Dee Kalmon of Krakow, Cameron Kalmon of Racine and Alexandra Kalmon of Racine; his fiancée, Jan of Wild Rose and her two daughters, Rachel and Michelle; his parents, Ronald Kalmon of Pewaukee and Darlene (Pat) Preman of Suring; five sisters, Sandy (Bob) Creech of Greenleaf, Sheila (Boone) Mannisto of De Pere, Micki Hoskins of Krakow, Hiedi (Jeremy) Van Camp of De Pere and Allison Davis of Oakdale, Calif.; and nieces and nephews, Scott, Travis, Justin, Jaci, Hayley, Montana, Hunter, Davey, Weston and Jordan.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Andrew and Alma Kalmon; and his maternal grandparents, Oren Bishop and Frieda Johnson.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009 at Holly Funeral Home in Wild Rose. Father Paul Vanden Hogen officiated. Holly Funeral Home of Wild Rose assisted the family with arrangements.
