Hoehn, Tom (September 22, 1959- August 1, 2010)

Tom Hoehn, 50, of Chippewa Falls, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 1, 2010, from injuries received in an auto accident.

Tom was born Sept. 22, 1959, in Ladysmith the son of the late Raymond and Betty Hoehn.

He attended UW- Wisconsin Medford and the Chippewa Valley Technical College. For more than 20 years he has worked for Kell Container as a utility operator and was employed at Celestisca for a few years.

He was a quiet gentle person, loved by all his nieces and nephews, enjoyed family get-togethers, fantasy football, the Dallas Cowboys, and was a voracious book reader, particularly of history and science fiction.

He is survived by: his siblings, Carol (George) Mudgett of Miller Dam, Beverly (Jeff) Mayer of Stetsonville, Janice (Bob) Kraemer of Medford, Cathy (Marv) Webster of Gilman, Patty (Paul) McNeil of Provo, Utah, Richard (Laurie) Hoehn of Jump River and Robert (Judy) Hoehn of Chippewa Falls; plus many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; and step- mother Mary Hoehn.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 6 at the Gilman Funeral Home with Pastor Craig Lindgren officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Nebo Cemetery, Jump River.

Friends and family may call from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Gilman Funeral Home on Thursday evening for a memorial visitation.

Plombon Funeral Service of Gilman is assisting the family with arrangements.
