Pogodzinski, Ronald (May 12, 1950 - May 13, 2009)

Ronald Pogodzinski, age 59, Gilman, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at Memorial Health Center in Medford.

A memorial service was held Saturday, May 16 at Plombon Funeral Chapel in Stanley, with Pastor Daniel Welch officiating. Burial in St. Mary's Polish National Cemetery in Lublin will be held at a later date.

Honorary pallbearers are Michael Seng Jr., Rickey Truckey Jr., Matthew, Dillon and Logan Peterson, Alex Davis and Jake and Gus Brendemuehl.

Ronald was born May 12, 1950 in Stanley, the son of Leon and Geraldine (Sennett) Pogodzinski.

He grew up in the Lublin area and attended area schools, graduated from Gilman High School in 1967. He was employed as a truck driver and worked at various jobs throughout the years.

Besides his love for his family, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and his motorcycle.

He is survived by his children, Ron (Sharon) Pogodzinski Jr. of Fall Creek, Lynn (Mike) Koch of Thorp, Lisa (Adam) Davis of Medford, Holly (Eddie) Peterson of Thorp and Eric (Kim) Pogodzinski of Pensacola, Fla.; two stepchildren, Joshua Hendricks of Chippewa Falls and Matthew Hendricks of Berlin; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and special friend, Irene Przybylski of Stanley.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
