Gerhardt, Lydia Ann (1935? - 2009)

Lydia Ann Gerhardt, 74, Somerset County, N.J., died Sunday, May 3.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 3 p.m. at Medford Evergreen Cemetery, with Pastor Pete Warmanen officiating.

Lydia Gerhardt, formerly of Medford, will be laid to rest next to her father and mother, Erwin Otto Gerhardt and Lydia Kraemerer Gerhardt (Little Black); her grandfather and grandmother, William and Anna Kraemerer (Little Black); and her aunt and uncle, Hilbert and Clara Michler (Little Black); and her cousin, John Fitch Michler.

She is survived by her brother, Erwin William Gerhardt of Bernardsville, N.J.; a nephew, Scott Erwin Gerhardt; and nieces Catherine Ann Gerhardt and Bonnie Gerhardt Lo. There are four great nieces and nephews.

She graduated from Penn State University BA, Wisconsin University MA, and New York University PHD. She resided for the past 33 years in Duxbury, Mass. working as a teacher at Bridgewater State College, Bridgewater, Mass.

Contributions in lieu of flowers should be made to the American Cancer Society.
