Seefeld, Ruth A. (16 Sept. 1921 – 6 Oct. 2008)
MEDFORD -- Ruth A. Seefeld, 87, Medford, a former town of Browning resident, died Monday, Oct. 6, 2008, at the residence of her daughter in the town of Medford, under the care of Family and Hope Hospice.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Hemer Funeral Home, Medford. Interment will be in Medford Evergreen Cemetery II.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. until service time Saturday, all at the funeral home.
Ruth was born Sept. 16, 1921, at Medford, the daughter of August and Selma (Foss) Kallenbach. She was married Aug. 5, 1945, in Las Vegas, to James G. Seefeld. He preceded her in death Sept. 11, 2002.
She farmed in the town of Browning for many years until her retirement.
She is survived by a daughter, Gerry (Ray) Eckert of Medford; a son, James (Debi) Seefeld of Medford; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is further survived by a sister, Gertrude Soine of Minneapolis; and two brothers, Gerald (Evelyn) Kallenbach of Medford and Robert (Jarda) Kallenbach of Medford.
