Brandner, Shelby J. (4 Aug. 1937 – 2 Oct. 2008)

MEDFORD -- Shelby J. Brandner, 71, of Medford, died Thursday, Oct. 2, 2008, at her residence. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Cremainal inurnment will take place in Lakeview Cemetery, Rib Lake, at a later date.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Monday at the Hemer Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the church.

She was born Aug. 4, 1937, at Rib Lake to Frederick and Erma Vlach. She married Jerry R. Brandner on Sept. 14, 1957, at Rib Lake. She worked at Allen-Bradley in Milwaukee and then moved to the Medford area.

Surviving are her brother Jerry R. Brandner, Medford; daughters, Cheryl Wright, Cynthia (Roger) Dray and Colleen (Todd) Waldhart, all of Medford and Susette (Bill) Alsteens of Oregon; sons, Dave (Kris) Brandner and Todd (Marlene) Brandner, both of Medford; 10 grandchildren; her mother Erma Vlach, Rib Lake; sisters, Janet Kane, Glendale and Diane (Gene) Zabrowski, Milwaukee.
