Rudolph, Mabel L. (8 Oct. 1925 - 13 Apr. 2009)

MEDFORD -- Mabel L. Rudolph, 83, of Medford died Monday, April 13, 2009, at her residence in the city of Medford, under the care of her family and Hope Hospice. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, Medford. Burial will be in Medford Evergreen Cemetery II.

Visitation will be at the church Friday from 11 a.m. until time of services.

Hemer Funeral Home of Medford is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mabel was born Oct. 8, 1925, in the town of Molitor to Emil and Norma (Dittman) Nadler. She was united in marriage May 20, 1961, at Medford to Melvin Rudolph. He preceded her in death May 13, 2000.

The couple resided in Marshfield for a period of time where she waitressed at the former Downtowner Restaurant. In the late 1960s, they returned to Medford, where they owned and operated the A&W Drive-in until semiretirement in the early 1990s.

She is survived by a daughter, Carol (Dennis) Fait of Auburndale; and a son, Terry (Cindy) Albrecht of Pueblo West, Colo.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Elsie (Roy) Clarkson of Withee and Lillian Frahmann of Medford.
