Jensen, Frederick P. (13 June 1920 - 9 Apr. 2009)

MEDFORD -- Frederick "Junior" P. Jensen, 88, Medford, died Thursday, April 9, 2009, at Memorial Nursing & Rehab Center, Medford.

Funeral services were held Monday at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, town of Holway. Burial was in the parish cemetery.

Frederick was born June 13, 1920, at Madison, the son of Frederick Sr. and Lena (Olson) Jensen. He was united in marriage Sept. 9, 1942, at the town of Holway, to Mary Rickaby.

He worked for many years for the Stetsonville Farmers Union Co-op, both in the service station and driving the delivery truck. Then he worked at the Medford Co-op Hardware Store in Medford for a period of time. Then he worked for 16 years at Weather Shield Manufacturing in Medford until his retirement in 1988.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Jensen of Medford; a daughter, Kristin (Fred) Reischl of Racine; three sons, Barry (Janet) Jensen of Madison, Loren "Lonnie" Jensen of White Lake, Mich., and Martin "Marty" (Nicolette) Jensen of Batavia, Ill.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Hemer Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
