Arndt, Elizabeth L. (28 Feb. 1941 - 6 Apr. 2009)
MEDFORD -- Elizabeth "Betty" L. Arndt, 68, of Medford died Monday, April 6, 2009, at her residence in the city of Medford, under the care of her family and Hope Hospice.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, Medford. Burial will be in Medford Evergreen Cemetery II.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Hemer Funeral Home, and at the church on Friday from 9 a.m. until time of services.
Elizabeth was born Feb. 28, 1941, at Phillips, the daughter of Adam and Mildred (Kaliska) Pisca. She was married Aug. 19, 1961, at Milwaukee, to Lawrence "Larry" E. Arndt.
The couple lived in Milwaukee until moving to Medford in 1978. She worked in the Weather Shield office for a period of years until ill health forced her retirement in 2008.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Arndt of Medford; three children, Brenda (Harland) Hoveland of McFarland, Lisa Drager of Medford and Heather (Ryan) Grissman of Marshfield; 11 grandchildren; four sisters, Marge Pisca of Milwaukee, Barb (Tom) Salli of Broomfield, Colo., Kathy (Duane) Kussrow of Phillips and Diane (Bob) Horenberger of Medford.
