Riegert, Edward Herman (26 Feb. 1918 – 29 Mar. 2009)

MEDFORD -- Edward "Ed" Herman Riegert, 90, of Stetsonville died Sunday, March 29, at Memorial Nursing and Rehab, Medford.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 2, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Stetsonville. An interment will be held at a later date at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Dallmann-Kniewel Funeral Home, Medford and from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass on Thursday.

He was born Feb. 26, 1918, in Medford to Ren and Josephine "Josie" Riegert. He owned and operated a farm and later worked as the State of Wisconsin Director of Insurance with General Life of America.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Norma; two sons, Michael Riegert of Stetsonville and Mark (Pam) Riegert of Medford; two daughters, Sharon (Joe) Cypher of Medford and Judith (Steve) Hasenohrl of Rapids City, S.D.; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one sister, Rose Riegert of Medford.
