Rice, Gerald L. (11 June 1938 – 11 Nov. 1989)

HILBERT – Gerald L. Rice, 51, Hilbert, formerly of Medford, died Saturday at his home after a short illness.

Services will be at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Sansom Funeral Home, Hilbert, with the Rev. Gene R. Kangas officiating. Committal services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Woodlawn Cemetery, Oconto Falls.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.

He was born June 11, 1938, in Oconto Falls, to Arthur and Florence (Gilbertson) Rice. He attended Oconto Falls schools and graduated from Oconto Falls High School.

He married Charlotte M. Bitters July 20, 1957, in Oconto Falls.

After his marriage, he and his wife resided in Oconto Falls for 12 years. They later lived in Medford for 12 years and had been residents of Hilbert for the past five years. He worked for Frigo’s *** Note: The rest of the article was cut off and was not available at the time of transcription.
