Waldhart, Terry L. (August 8, 1969 - August 2, 2010)
Terry L. Waldhart, 40, Medford, died Monday, Aug. 2 at St. Joseph's Hospital palliative care unit in Marshfield, where he had been a patient the past five weeks, after a long battle with cancer.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 7 at 11 a.m. at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Medford, with Rev. James Krueger officiating. Honorary pallbearers are his nieces and nephews, Alec, Noah, Carly, McKenzi and Austin Waldhart, all of Medford.
Visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 6 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hemer Funeral Home in
Medford and at the church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
Terry Waldhart was born August 8, 1969 in Medford to Allen and Linda (Zuleger)
Waldhart.
He attended Immanuel Lutheran School in Medford, was a 1987 graduate of Medford High School, and earned an associate's degree in architectural building design from Northcentral Technical College in Wausau. He worked in the St. Paul, Minn. area for a period of time before returning to the Medford area in 1995. He worked for a Medford manufacturing company, then was employed as a draftsman in Dorchester until ill health.
He was a member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Tee Hi Golf Club in
Medford and past member of golf leagues, bowling and softball leagues. He
enjoyed golf, fishing, hunting, bowling, softball, the Green Bay Packers and the
Milwaukee Brewers, and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his parents, Allen and Linda (Zuleger) Waldhart of Medford;
special friend, Krissy Wojner of Medford; maternal grandfather, Alvin Zuleger of
Alamo Rose, Texas; a step-daughter, Faith; three brothers, Todd (Colleen), Brett
and Scott (Lori), all of Medford; godparents, Randy Zuleger of Circle Pines,
Minn., and Joyce Willett of Medford; nieces and nephews; and cousins.
He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Werner and Dorothy Waldhart;
maternal grandmother, Anne Zuleger; and an uncle, Jim Hartwig.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Immanuel Evangelical
Lutheran Church or the American Brain Tumor Association.
